CHRONIC BACK PAIN AND PROBLEMS AS A RESULT OF YOUR LIFESTYLE

This can be caused by an excessively sedentary lifestyle with little exercise, unhealthy habits, poor body posture in our prolonged sedentary working activities in front of the computer and in our free time in front of the television, by putting on excessive weight on the backand shoulders (bags, love handles); sport injuries due to insufficient caused by sporadic play, etc.

THE BACK

The back supports the body by keeping the body stable while you move around. For this reason it must be extremely solid and flexible at the same time. It also keeps your center of gravity stable. Muscle contraction works as a counter weight and compensates the movements of the rest of the body.

BACK PAIN

Back pain usually occurs due to a neurological mechanism that activates the nerves which transmit pain, triggering muscular contraction and inflammation. It can sometimes result in nerve root compression. The diagnosis methods are usually taken from medical records and physical examination, and in very few cases they may also use X-Rays, blood analysis, NMR or nuerophsyiological testing. This neurological mechanism causing pain can be triggered by a structural injury as well. It can however also be triggered with no structural injuries. Also, maintaining an incorrect posture can cause undue stress to a muscle group and result in a contraction, exciting the nerves and causing pain that acts upon that group. If a patient has insufficient muscle or a non-symmetrical muscle structure excessive stress can be a chronic malady or come back periodically.

W-WEAR Back Pain Corrector has been proven useful in correcting poor posture habits. It gives you a correct, healthy and natural posture.

CONTRACTION

This occurs when the muscle is required to perform a task greater than it is capable of doing. A one-off effort which causes great stress or even a less demanding effort that is nonetheless maintained for hours like poor posture while standing. Some spinal anomalies or muscular imbalances result in some muscle groups working more than others, which predispose us to contractions. This is also the case if we lack muscle power and our muscles are required to perform tasks they are incapable of doing.

W-WEAR Back Pain Corrector aids our muscles providing support to our back, shoulders, abdomen and kidneys. It corrects poor posture, balancing our muscles and providing correct load balance.

INFLAMMATION

Inflammation occurs when the pain nerves are activated, releasing neurotransmitters. These dilate the vessels and open their pores, resulting in inflammation of the tissue where they are released. Some blood cells can be activated, if microbes are detected, attracting other of your body's immune cells. As a result the vessels dilate, the pores open and the cells can pass to the tissues.

NERVE ROOT COMPRESSION

Back pain can result in reflex arm or leg pain. This can be the result of a reflex mechanism of the spinal cord, or an "irradiated" pain. Nerve compression involves a degree of neurological suffering.

SCOLIOSIS

Scoliosis consists of lateral deviation of the spinal column. From behind, the column is not seen as a vertical line, but rather curves can be seen, which entails back asymmetry (shoulders, shoulder blades, waist, etc.). 85% of the causes are unknown.

W-WEAR compensates the scoliosis imbalances on our bone structure, ligaments, muscles, etc. It also aids the muscle groups that work the most as a result of asymmetry and provides them with support.

HYPERKYPHOSIS

Hyperkyphosis consists of an increased back “hump” shaped back curvature. Its can cause inadequate prolonged postures or lack of paravertebral muscle. To correct these bad posture habits, a specialist must recommend more appropriate exercise for the patient.

W-WEAR can help maintain a natural posture, preventing us from falling back into bad posture habits. Do not hesitate to consult a back care specialist.

HIPERLORDOSIS

Hiperlordosis consists of an exaggerated inwards curve in the spine near the lumbar or cervical area. The cause of this problem is usually unknown. Sometimes shortening of the ischiotibial muscle can result in the adoption of these postures. Normally this simply looks bad, but it can overload the facet joints and sometimes speeds up their degradation. Adequate exercise (recommended by a specialist) can be enough to compensate for this overload risk.

W-WEAR Back Pain Corrector helps to prevent overloading of our skeletal and muscular structure.

RECTIFICATIONS

This consists of a reduction in the spinal column curve. This can be cervical, dorsal or lumbar. Lordosis is less than usual or has disappeared and the spine is straight when viewed from the side. If the pain continues then there may be other causes, muscular alterations, etc.

SPONDYLOLYSIS

This consists in the fracturing of the spinal cord lamina. The facet joint also separates from the rest of the spinal cord. Many times the bone has not fully formed, although in other cases there have been several falls or injuries. This is most often seen in athletes or those who have demanding physical jobs.

W-WEAR will help you by preventing stress on your back, allowing recovery while greatly helping you increase mobility, but maintaining a certain amount of structural support and autonomy.

DISC DEGENERATION

This consists of degeneration of the intervertebral gelatinous core because through the process it loses thickness and density. This is caused by the normal degradation of the intervertebral disc. Height is usually lost due to the loss of the thickness of these discs. If a person supports a heavy load or excessive weight the wearing of these discs can be accelerated. Operating to correct this is not recommended as there are more efficient non-invasive techniques.

FACET ARTHRITIS

This consists in the degeneration of the cartilage which separates the laminas of 2 vertebrae. This is normal wear that occurs over time. If the cartilage is worn down to such a degree that it does not dampen the articulation load, the bone can become deformed. This could result in spinal stenosis and also compress another nerve structure. Exercise is recommended to prevent this from progressing, especially with hyperlordosis.

FRACTURING, PROTRUSION, DISC HERNIATION

Fracturing consists of a small disc crack and/or a tearing of the fibrous ring. Protrusion is the deformity of the fibrous ring due to impact against it of the gelatinous nucleus. Disc herniation occurs if the ring breaks and part of the viscous nucleus is released from the pulpous nucleus. It could be caused by the following movements: - Forward bending of the spine. - Significant weight overloading. - Spine extension, supporting weight. - Flexion and extension movements, even without weight, can cause the same damage, as a result of small but repeated micro-impact on the ring. Between 30% and 50% of the population suffer small disc hernias, with no problems. It is just as risky to operate unnecessarily on patients as it is to not operate on patients who need an operation. Only surgery has been proven to be the best option for irradiated pain. It is neither urgent nor essential. Even so, it could be appropriate to operate in the following cases: A lumbar disc hernia, severe sciatica with many limitations, with no improvement after 4 weeks of treatment. Sciatica with sensitivity alterations. When the nerve is causing a lot of pain (with a significant loss of control of muscle mobility) and when the NMR shows that the affected nerve is in the disc hernia level. Emergency surgery is only adopted in cases of "horse tail syndrome" medulla suffering.

POST OPERATION FIBROSIS

This consists of secondary scarring following an operation, basically when there is excessive scarring. Following a spine operation, when the excessive scarring compresses the nerve, this can result in severe pain. Some people can be more prone to excessive scarring.

SPRAINS

This consists in injury of the ligaments joining the articulation between 2 bones. In sprains the bones remain in place. When the bones move and become separated this is dislocation. These are the result of sudden, excessive movements which exceed the movement limits the joint can withstand. Traffic accidents with extreme forces and movements are a significant cause. They normally occur in the cervical part of the spine as this is where the muscles are the weakest. The prognosis is usually good and is cured immediately. Sometimes pain, inflammation, muscular contraction with episodes of back pain can also occur. It has been proven that complete rest is counterproductive for back pain. Mechanisms are also used which prevent forcing movement without resulting in total immobility, such as flexible or semi rigid cervical collars.

W-WEAR Back Pain Corrector have been proven efficient as treatment providing support and freedom of movement.
